About Thomas
Thomas is an associate in our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group where he assists clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters. He has consistently demonstrated his expertise by representing clients before the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta. His practice covers various aspects of civil and commercial litigation, ranging from providing clients with strategic advice to representing them before Alberta courts. Thomas has experience in the handling of commercial litigation matters as well as insurance defence.Thomas joined the firm as a student in 2018 and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2019. He earned his law degree from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia. While attending law school, Thomas worked with the British Columbia Ministry of Attorney General developing content for the Civil Resolution Tribunal. Thomas’ work focused on bringing innovation to the legal field while improving access to justice. During his undergrad, Thomas enjoyed a semester studying abroad at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.Thomas spends his free time with a passion for the great outdoors and sports. He enjoys hockey, golf and skiing on the slopes throughout Alberta and British Columbia. He is known to consistently win any “fitness challenge” presented by his co-workers.
