About Stephen
Steve Reardon's practice focuses on health care, general corporate and business law, estate administration, wills, and trusts law. The majority of his time is spent representing providers of long-term care services such as nursing and assisted living communities, hospice providers, continuing care retirement communities, and physician practices. His health care clients rely upon him to represent them on regulatory issues including COPN, HIPAA, Medicare, and licensure matters and to act essentially as general counsel. He enjoys working with clients to address the totality of issues that converge in the retirement community setting. He is honored to be asked to assist his clients who have an outstanding reputation for the delivery of compassionate services to the residents living within their communities throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia.Steve is interested in aging issues and policies and previously served two four-year terms on the Commonwealth Council on Aging. In September 2010, Governor McDonnell appointed him to the Board of Trustees of the Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth. In this role, he was able to focus on promoting healthy lifestyles in the formative years of life.In addition, Steve advises business and non-profit enterprises and organizations in matters related to regulatory, employment, organizational governance, risk management, and 501(c) status. This experience further supports his general representation of clients both in health care and in other business areas.Steve's estate planning and estate administration services allow him to assist clients in providing the best solutions for their families as they prepare to pass on their legacies.
