Shawn Rediger is a Member in the Seattle office of Williams Kastner and Chair of the firm’s Business and Real Estate Transactions Group. Known for her practical, creative, and results-driven approach, Shawn works closely with clients to craft strategic solutions tailored to their business and legal objectives.Shawn advises businesses and individuals in bankruptcy, insolvency, and restructuring matters, with a strong focus on strategic planning. She brings a broad perspective to each matter, informed by her deep understanding of both the legal and operational sides of her clients' needs. Her experience includes representing secured creditors, lenders, corporate and individual debtors, bankruptcy trustees, and court-appointed receivers. Her work in this area has earned her repeated recognition by The Best Lawyers in America® in Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law.In addition to her insolvency practice, Shawn represents residential and commercial clients in a variety of real estate matters. She has significant experience in dispute resolution and litigation across both state and federal courts. Her real estate clients include corporations, business owners, property owners, lenders, and title insurance companies throughout the region.Shawn is also active in professional and community leadership. She currently serves on the board of WOMBATS (Women in Bankruptcy) and has previously held board positions with the Bureau of Fearless Ideas (formerly 826 Seattle) and Book-It Repertory Theatre. Since 2020, she has served as the firm’s representative to the Business Counsel, an international network of law firms dedicated to providing high-quality legal services to the corporate sector across regulatory, litigation, and transactional matters.Outside of her legal work, Shawn enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, traveling, and honing her golf skills.
