He received his Bachelor of Arts from Miami University and his Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School, where he was honored with the Order of the Curia.Scott served as President Chair of the American Bar Association Family Law Section for 2013-2014 and has held many other positions in the Section. He is a Fellow within the American Academy of Matrimonial lawyers. He is a member of the Columbus Bar Association’s Family Law Committee, the Ohio State Bar Association Family Law Committee, and the American Bar Association Family Section.Mr. Friedman is an instructor at the American Bar Association Family Law Section's Trial Advocacy Institute. He has consistently been named an Ohio Super Lawyer by Law & Politics.
