Ron Jewitt has over 30 years of experience litigating injury claims as defense counsel and plaintiff’s counsel.Ron is Counsel at CAM LLP and has been with the firm since 1992, exclusively representing seriously injured people. However, his professional experience also includes working on the defence side of insurance files. His expertise has helped clients with all kinds of injuries, from severe fractures and debilitating soft tissue injuries to spinal cord and brain injuries.Ron has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Alberta as well as a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). His business background helps him determine the financial impact of personal injury on behalf of his clients.Protecting his clients is one of Ron’s priorities. He believes in treating everyone with respect and going through the process with a thorough understanding of the facts and evidence. Ron is a member and former Judicial RDistrict representative the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association (ACTLA), has sat on the committee overseeing the fight against No-Fault Insurance (FAIR), and is a member of the Law Society of Alberta. He has also been endorsed by his peers for High Professional Achievement, Martindale-Hubbell®, in 2016 for his high ethical standing.Ron also enjoys being involved in the community. Some of his roles include being a Director with Spinal Cord Injury Alberta from 2012 - 2016 and the Director of Tennis Alberta (2015- 2017).
