Dick Woods joined the firm in 2001, practicing primarily in Estate Planning and Real Estate where he now has over 50 years of experience, and is licensed to practice law in both Kansas and Missouri. Mr. Woods is experienced in trust and estate planning for estates of all sizes, preparation of federal estate and gift tax returns, and probate and trust administration. He received his B.A., with distinction, from the University of Kansas in 1972, and his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1975 where he was an editor of the Missouri Law Review.Mr. Woods been a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) since 1988 and is a former ACTEC Kansas State Chair. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America and SuperLawyers for many years, and has been featured as a speaker at numerous seminars on estate planning, probate and real estate.
