About Paul
Paul Parker focuses his practice on semiconductor technologies and emerging medical device companies. In the semiconductor industry, Paul has extensive experience in general semiconductor and LED fabrication and process patents (CMP, CVD, ALD, lithography, and electrochemical deposition/polishing, etc.); probing/testing technologies (scatterometry, overlay measurements, photoluminescence, probe cards, test jigs, etc.); semiconductor structures and integration flows; semiconductor device and CMOS imager assembly/packaging (single packages, stacked packages, interconnects, etc.). Paul also has extensive experience in portfolio development and patent strategies, freedom to operate analyses and other intellectual property due diligence, patent licensing, and technology transfer. In the medical device industry, Paul has represented investors and emerging companies from incubation through acquisition/IPO. Paul has particular experience in cortical/deep brain stimulation; automatic external defibrillators; implantable cardioverter defibrillators; other cardiac technologies (ablation, monitoring, etc.); localization/guiding technologies; congestive heart failure/hypertension; and aesthetic treatments.
