Nathalie Nouvet is a partner in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group, whose practice focuses on restructuring, insolvency and commercial litigation. Nathalie regularly advises and represents debtors, secured lenders, court-appointed officers and purchasers in proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangements Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act. She is involved in Québec-based, national and cross-border proceedings and has appeared before all levels of courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada.Her practice also covers all facets of litigation, ranging from providing strategic advice to clients on litigious or potentially litigious issues to representing clients at trial and in appeal. She has broad experience in all areas of commercial law, including contract law, securities, financial and corporate litigation and shareholder disputes.She is a member of the Montréal office’s Students & Stagiaires Committee, and acts as mentor for lawyers, students and stagiaires.
