Additionally, Mitchell has tried railroad crossing cases as well as legal malpractice cases on the defense side. Before joining McGinnis Lochridge he was a partner in his own firm in Brownsville, Texas and was the managing partner of his firm from 2009-2015.Mitchell is also a lecturer at his alma mater, the University of Kansas School of Law.
