About Mathieu
Mathieu Renaud is part of Fasken’s Real Estate law practice group. He joined the firm in 2016, after working in the legal affairs department of one of the largest real estate companies in the world. Mr. Renaud participated in several major real estate transactions involving foreign private and public institutional investors.Mr. Renaud practices primarily transactional real estate law. As part of the Real Estate law practice group, he acts for owners, managers, lenders, private and public institutional investors, and builders in connection with various real estate transactions. Mr. Renaud specializes in negotiating and drafting sale and purchase agreements, development agreements, commercial leases, and real estate financing.Mr. Renaud graduated from both the Civil Law and Common Law Faculties of the University of Ottawa. While a student, he was captain of the university rowing team and a member of the board of directors of the team representing the University of Ottawa in a number of national regattas.Mr. Renaud volunteers as a member of the board of directors of Les Amis de l’Insectarium de Montréal, where he provides legal and strategic advice.
