Laura O’Hara concentrates her practice on civil litigation, representing clients in a wide range of matters including breach of contract, premises liability, insurance coverage, products liability, employment disputes, property disputes, and business litigation. Ms. O’Hara has successfully tried cases before the bench and juries, and regularly appears in Arkansas circuit and appellate courts, including the Arkansas Supreme Court. She is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. She is recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for Commercial Litigation.In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. O’Hara holds leadership roles in DRI Young Lawyers, a national organization of civil defense counsel within ten years of bar admission, and in DRI Women in the Law, an affiliation group for women lawyers within DRI.Ms. O’Hara earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, serving as Editor-in-Chief of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Law Review. She graduated in the top ten of her class and received Top Paper honors in multiple subjects, including Legal Research, Writing & Analysis, Legal Issues in Higher Education, and Entertainment Law.
