Laura’s career began with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she earned a dual concentration in International Business through the prestigious Global Leadership Scholars Program. This early academic focus instilled in her a comprehensive understanding of the interconnectedness of global markets and legal systems – an asset she continues to leverage today.
She continued her education at Michigan State University College of Law, excelling in the International Law Review and publishing a significant student note within the journal. During her time at MSU, Laura demonstrated her commitment to advocacy and legal research by actively participating in the Jessup International Moot Court Competition. This experience honed her courtroom skills and deepened her understanding of international legal principles.
Following law school, Laura’s ambition led her to Edinburgh, Scotland, where she pursued a Master’s Degree, gaining invaluable insights into legal practices and perspectives within a different cultural context. This experience significantly broadened her understanding of the legal profession and reinforced her dedication to client advocacy.
Prior to joining Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan, PLLC, Laura gained valuable experience practicing general liability, employment law, and workers’ compensation at a leading defense firm in Nashville. This formative period solidified her litigation skills and provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the legal complexities associated with these areas, further informing her approach to client representation. She possesses a keen analytical mind and a relentless pursuit of justice for her clients.
