Kevin Keyes is a Partner in the firm’s Calgary office. His practice focuses on real estate development, financing and leasing. Kevin has advised clients with respect to land assembly; annexation; purchase; subdivision; rezoning; development approvals; financing; leasing; management and sale of commercial and institutional projects, and public/private-sector initiatives. Regularly assists clients in making strategic business decisions, negotiating and preparing complex commercial agreements and security documentation, and facilitating regulatory and bylaw approvals and compliance. Has had extensive dealings with Calgary City Council, Calgary Planning Commission, Calgary Subdivision and Development Appeal Board and similar administrative bodies in other municipalities. He has also worked on a number of interesting development projects in Mexico. Kevin has considerable business experience, having previously worked as a project supervisor in a construction company, as a financial analyst in the food service industry and as a credit officer in export finance banking.
