Karen’s insurance practice includes both defence and subrogation work. She defends actions against Life & Disability insurers for payment of disability and life insurance benefits. She also defends various types of tort actions against her clients’ insured’s including bodily injury actions arising from motor vehicle and slip and fall accidents, property damage claims arising from various perils, and dental malpractice claims. She also has experience with a wide variety of subrogated claims including property damage and loss of use claims arising from motor vehicle accidents, thefts, fire losses, product liability and professional negligence.
