Justin Barry is a Partner in the firm’s commercial real estate development & finance and commercial lending practice groups. Mr. Barry has experience representing banks, life insurance companies, and other financial institutions in structuring, negotiating and documenting a variety of lending transactions, including development and construction loans, real estate secured term and acquisition loans, and syndicated loan facilities across all asset classes (with a particular focus in the hospitality industry).Mr. Barry also has experience in a wide variety of real estate transactions, including representing joint ventures, private equity firms, developers and lenders in connection with the purchase and sale of commercial property across all asset classes. Mr. Barry represents both landlords and tenants, including representing several national big-box retailers, in commercial leasing matters.Prior to attending law school, Mr. Barry served as Director of the Small Business Improvement Fund, a non-profit grant fund dedicated to renewing blighted urban areas around Chicago through investment in small businesses and start-ups. He was awarded the Arthur Goodman Award, a national award given annually for outstanding
