Jun represents Japanese and overseas clients, including manufacturing companies, banks, and start-ups.His practice area focuses on international transactions, M&A, data privacy law, labor & employment.Based on his study in the U.S. and training at two different U.S. law firms, he provides legal support to Japanese companies expanding into overseas markets as well as to foreign companies expanding into the Japanese market.He also provides a wide range of legal services, including M&A-related matters, general corporate legal matters (dispute resolution, guidance on operation of shareholders’ meetings, legal advice on the Corporate Law and the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act, etc.).He also provides a wide range of legal services in relation to data privacy laws (Japan, GDPR in Europe, CCPA/CPRA in California, etc.), including drafting and revising privacy policies and reporting to the authorities in the event of a breach of personal data.
