Julian Catala

Julian J. Catala is a partner at Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen. His practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury with a concentration on medical malpractice and aviation litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he was an Assistant State Attorney in Miami-Dade County where he gained extensive trial experience. While an Assistant State Attorney, he prosecuted hundreds of cases including armed narcotics trafficking, armed robbery and burglary, aggravated battery and assault, sexual battery, and DUI. He draws on this extensive advocacy experience daily as he represents our clients in courtrooms throughout the State. Julian is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is a licensed commercial pilot. He graduated from Stetson University College of Law. While at Stetson, he was a member of its number one ranked Trial Team. As a member of the Trial Team, he was invited to represent Stetson at advanced trial competitions around the country. Julian was twice selected as Stetson’s “Top Gun” and was named Best Advocate.
