Julia K. Julia recently acted for a coalition of municipal governments seeking to preserve aspects of the regulatory power in the aggregate extraction industry in OK Industries Ltd v District of Highlands, 2022 BCCA 12. In Kepis & Pobe Financial Group Inc. v. Timis Corporation, Julia acted as counsel for Kepis & Pobe and successfully obtained a Mareva injunction in respect of a claim for a contractual success fee.In addition to her experience before the courts, Julia is an active volunteer with Access Pro Bono, and has been the co-author of the Evidence chapter in the CLE Annual Review for from 2016 to present. She is the vice president of the Advocates Club, an advocacy advisor for the Supreme Court Advocacy Institute and coaches the UBC Law Laskin Moot.
