About Julia
Julia practices in all areas of labour, employment and human rights law. Based in Victoria, BC, Julia is uniquely positioned to provide on-the-ground representation to clients on Vancouver Island in addition to providing legal counsel to clients located throughout BC.Described as tenacious and detail-oriented, Julia has a passion for advising and guiding clients through complex legal issues. As a skilled investigator, Julia has experience conducting both efficient and thorough workplace investigations and assisting clients to resolve issues internally.She has experience advising clients in both the private and public sector, with a particular focus on post-secondary work. She has appeared as counsel before labour arbitrators and has prepared complex submissions for all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada.Prior to joining Roper Greyell, Julia articled at a national law firm and clerked for seven justices at the British Columbia Supreme Court.Outside of the office, Julia enjoys spending time with her family, including chasing after her toddler, dog and cat at home, or at the barn with her off-the-track thoroughbred.
