He works with his clients to creatively draft operating agreements and membership interest purchases with complex equity and funding structures including joint ventures, preferred equity, multi-tiered waterfall, mezzanine lending, and public/private partnerships. John also assists clients with commercial leasing matters. His commercial real estate representation spans diverse asset classes including single-family developments, industrial and self-storage, retail, office, hospitality, restaurant, telecommunication, and mixed use developments.Prior to joining Parker Hudson, John practiced with two well-known and highly regarded firms with a focus on transactional and litigation real estate matters. He also served as a law clerk for a federal magistrate judge. Before obtaining his law degree, John taught English for several years.
