Joe Mooney is a corporate and commercial lawyer. His practice is focused on banking and debt finance. Joe has acted for corporate borrowers, as well as national and international lenders in transactions across various industries, including energy, aviation, and aerospace.In particular, Joe's practice has focused on syndicated and bi-lateral lending arrangements in both the domestic and cross-border context. Additionally, Joe has experience with various types of project finance, merger and acquisition finance, reserve and asset-based lending, as well as distressed-debt arrangements.Prior to joining our Calgary office as a summer student in 2015, Joe worked in the legal department of a publicly traded drilling contractor. Joe returned to our office as an articling student in 2016, during which he completed a secondment in the legal department of Imperial Oil Limited.
