Jean-François focuses his practice on defending professionals of all professions in all aspects covered by professional, disciplinary and deontological law. He also advises professionals in all aspects of their practice. Jean-François has extensive experience in class actions, defending various commercial businesses and a variety of professionals.With over 40 years of litigation experience, he has represented numerous clients before all civil courts in Quebec, as well as before various civil, disciplinary, and administrative bodies (disciplinary councils, the Tribunal des professions, in-hospital disciplinary committees, administrative boards of the Quebec Bar and the Collège des médecins du Québec, and others), and before the Supreme Court of Canada.Jean-François has also represented and advised law students, Quebec Bar students, as well as medical students and residents. He taught evidence law at the École du Barreau du Québec, was a member of the Quebec Bar's Disciplinary Council and sat on the Bar’s Liaison Committee with the Quebec Court of Appeal.
