With compassion, dedication, and years of aviation litigation experience, Jamie R. Lebovitz has focused his practice on helping families who have lost loved ones in aviation disasters. He is a senior partner at Nurenberg, Paris, Heller & McCarthy and practices personal injury and wrongful death litigation with a concentration in aviation, railroad, and trucking calamities.

Jamie has over 35 years of experience as a trial attorney, recovering numerous multi-million dollar settlements and jury verdicts against commercial airlines, aircraft manufacturers, railroad and trucking companies, and the federal government. He is a member of prominent organizations such as the American Association for Justice, the Ohio Association of Justice, the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys, the Ohio State, Cleveland, and Cuyahoga County Bar Associations, the Lawyers-Pilots Bar Association, and numerous others.
Jamie has been appointed by federal and state courts as a member of the lead trial counsel team and Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in aviation and railroad accident cases. In these roles, he coordinated investigations and preparations for trials on behalf of all claimants and litigants. He earned an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell®, which is awarded to lawyers who have achieved the highest levels of professional skill and integrity in their fields.

Jamie was a member of the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee and lead trial counsel team appointed by federal and state courts to handle aviation and railroad accident cases. He also served as co-counsel for clients such as Mr. Robert T., who tragically lost his life in an aircraft crash, ensuring justice and compensation were obtained for their loved ones.
Jamie is married with three children. Outside of the office, he enjoys skiing, reading, traveling, playing golf and tennis, and wine tasting. His professional philosophy emphasizes empathy and thorough investigation to provide exceptional legal representation and support to those affected by traumatic events in aviation and other fields.
