He has first-chaired trials and claim construction and summary judgment hearings, and he has argued before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Seventh Circuit, and the Second Circuit. James' litigation experience includes successes at trial and at summary judgment, and the creation of settlements as a result of positive claim construction and summary judgment rulings.
