She was recently elected as Secretary of the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia and has been the co-chair for the New Lawyers Division as well as the Young Lawyers Committee of the Women’s Bar Association. She was selected as a member of the Young Lawyers Network Leadership Council of the District of Columbia Bar Foundation.Since 2021, she was selected to the District of Columbia Rising Stars list by Super Lawyers.Emily graduated magna cum laude from the University of Richmond and cum laude from Wake Forest University School of Law.
