She is a founding director of the Great Bar Band Battle Society, an organization that hosts fundraising events to raise money for access to justice in Calgary. She is also a director on the Board of Pro Bono Law Alberta and volunteers with the Civil Claims Duty Counsel Program, where she provides free legal advice to self-represented litigants in Provincial Court.Eleanor obtained her law degree from the University of Calgary and received the Faculty of Law Silver Medallion for achieving high academic standing and making a significant contribution to her community by leading access to justice programs.
