About Edward
Ned Bergin is a partner in the Litigation Practice Group. He represents utilities and publicly held companies in a broad range of disputes. Ned has a robust commercial litigation practice focused on utility regulation, complex and class action litigation, contract litigation, energy litigation, state constitutional and home rule law and antitrust matters. He represents publicly held entities in these areas, including large nationwide telecommunications providers and energy production and cogeneration companies. Earlier in his career, Ned represented telecommunications and electric companies, water and sewer companies, and certain large industrial consumers before the Louisiana Public Service Commission. Ned is the firm's general counsel and also serves as the co-chair of the firm’s Committee on Practice Standards, the firm’s claim counsel, loss prevention partner, and audit response partner. Ned also serves as the co-chair of the power and renewables team of the firm’s Energy, Environmental & Natural Resources Industry Team. He is an appointed member of the Rules of Professional Conduct Committee of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
