David earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, where he received the UVA Alumni Association Distinguished Student Award. He is fluent in English and has returned to Charlottesville for most winters to serve as a faculty member at the National Trial Advocacy College at the University of Virginia School of Law since 1993.
