He is highly experienced in the preparation of work permit applications through the Canada-United States- Mexico Agreement (CUSMA), formerly known as NAFTA, and other free-trade agreements, LMIA-based and PNP-based work permits, and LMIA-exempt work permits.Darren has also highly experienced in the preparation of applications through the family class, including sponsorship of spouses and common-law partners from inside and outside Canada, as well as sponsorship of children and parents and the sponsorship of other relatives through humanitarian and compassionate grounds. He also assists clients in appeals work, enforcement work, the submission of applications to Federal Court, and he has appeared at the Immigration Division and the Immigration Appeals Division.After gaining experience at a leading Vancouver immigration firm, Darren ventured into independent practice, founding his own law firm in late 2019.
