Darlene N. Wingerak, K.C. is a partner with Robertson Stromberg who maintains a general practice including corporate and commercial transactions, employment law, wills and estates, and acting as a mediator and adjudicator.Darlene obtained a Bachelor of Law degree (with distinction) in 1992, achieving the highest standing on the Saskatchewan bar exam in 1993 and receiving the Academic Excellence Award. Prior to attending law school Darlene earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and worked in the banking industry as a commercial lender.Darlene has a strong track record of closing complex commercial transactions and is skilled at negotiating and preparing detailed agreements for clients for the for sale and purchase of businesses, agricultural land acquisitions, and settlements in legal disputes.Dedicated to public legal education and access to justice, Darlene serves on the Public Legal Education Association of Saskatchewan (PLEA) board of directors and is a volunteer lawyer with Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan. Darlene serves as Education Director for the Saskatchewan Branch of the Canadian Bar Association and has served as chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) North Section. Darlene has offered her expertise in mediation and ADR to law students at the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Law as a presenter and coach.In recognition of her distinguished service and expertise, Darlene was honoured to receive the King’s Counsel designation in January 2024. Darlene was recognized in the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in Canada for her work in Trusts and Estates.
