Danielle Maksimow: Partner in our capital markets group specializing in US private placements and syndicated debt financing.
Ms. Maksimow represents and advises borrowers, banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions on a wide variety of financial matters, with a particular focus on U.S. private placements of debt to institutional investors and national and cross-border syndicated and bilateral debt financing transactions, including asset-based lending, project finance, acquisition financings, distressed lending, and complex intercreditor and priority issues.

Danielle Maksimow is a partner in our capital markets group. She has extensive experience advising financial institutions on debt restructurings, frequently acting as agent counsel to international law firms regarding Canadian banking matters. During her time in law school, she completed work terms at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Paris in the area of international commercial arbitration, at the Ontario Securities Commission dealing with registrant regulation, and at the BC Ministry of Attorney General’s Legal Services Office.
