About Christopher
Chris Ralston practices in a broad variety of commercial litigation and specializes in the areas of antitrust law, business torts, contract disputes, securities litigation and arbitration and intellectual property litigation. Mr. Ralston serves as the main litigation contact for a number of the firm's institutional clients. He also serves as a part of the firm's appellate practice. Mr. Ralston regularly appears in state and federal courts. He frequently litigates breach of contract disputes and enforcement of non-competition agreements. He has tried antitrust, securities fraud, federal qui tam/False Claims Act cases, large real estate suits, and a wide variety of commercial disputes. A substantial segment of his practice includes appellate representation. He has orally argued before the First Circuit, Second Circuit, Fourth Circuit and Fifth Circuit of the Louisiana Courts of Appeal, the Supreme Court of Louisiana and the Fifth Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals. Prior to joining Phelps Dunbar, he was a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Eldon E. Fallon of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
