Caroline Dorsey focuses her practice on counseling clients on state and federal laws impacting the design, implementation and ongoing compliance of employee benefit plans and programs.Prior to joining MMM, Caroline practiced Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation at an Am Law 200 firm. Caroline also served as associate general counsel for the Georgia Municipal Association, Inc., where she provided legal counsel for all aspects relating to the defined benefit, deferred compensation, and defined contribution plans administered by the organization.While earning her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law, Caroline interned at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, working closely with a legal team handling investigations in the complex financial instruments unit. In addition, having spent six years as in-house counsel supporting a non-profit organization in achieving its corporate goals while mitigating risk, Caroline is uniquely equipped to address her client’s needs and identify practical solutions.
