About Caitlyn
Caitlyn B. Sikorski is a shareholder in Reinhart’s Trusts and Estates Practice where she focuses on trustee compliance and litigation, including breach of trust, breach of fiduciary duty, undue influence, and significant construction and reformation matters. She represents individual and corporate fiduciaries, beneficiaries, and other parties involved in will, trust and intra-family related disputes and matters. Caitlyn is also experienced in prenuptial and marital property agreements, succession planning and guardianship as well as gift and generation-skipping tax issues and general estate, tax, and wealth transfer planning.As a third-generation attorney, Caitlyn grew up in a family where legal matters were an ever-present topic of conversation among her relatives. This early exposure to the law field coupled with her desire to effectuate change and function as an advocate for others eventually led Caitlyn to pursue a law degree. At present, Caitlyn has accumulated over a decade of legal experience and is licensed in both Illinois and Wisconsin. Prior to joining Reinhart, Caitlyn worked for a law firm and for a large development company where she handled real estate issues; therefore, she is familiar with the legal and business aspects of real estate law.Since joining Reinhart, Caitlyn has specialized in finding effective and creative solutions to complex trust and estates legal issues that often have an emotional component. Navigating sensitive interfamily dynamics can be challenging, but Caitlyn’s knowledge, experience, and pragmatic approach allows her to manage difficult situations and find successful resolutions for her clients.She earned her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and her B.B.A., with distinction, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
