Andrea is a 7th year associate at Witten LLP in Edmonton.Prior to completing her J.D. with Distinction (2015) at the University of Alberta, Andrea obtained a B.A. (First Class Honors) in Drama at the U of A and received an Alison White Honors award for having the highest GPA in the Faculty of Fine Arts. Called to the Alberta bar in 2016, the Northwest Territories bar in 2018, and Nunavut bar in 2021, Andrea is a civil litigator, with a focus on debt collection and foreclosures. She has appeared at all levels of Court in Alberta.Andrea likes to give back to her community. She is a regular volunteer with Pro Bono Law Alberta. She is an executive member of the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) Creditor/Debtor sub-section. She regularly volunteers as a mentor with the CBA Mentor Program for first year law students. She is a member of the Witten LLP Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee and Articling Committee. She has presented at seminars on civil procedure and judgment enforcement for the Legal Education Society of Alberta, as well as on foreclosures for the CBA.Andrea is passionate about acting for various types of creditors in both secured and unsecured debt collection matters. She understands the level of service necessary to provide timely advice in a fast-paced practice.
