Anabel Rodriguez joined the law firm of Schuster Aguilo LLC in San Juan Puerto Rico right after graduating in 1996. She graduated from the University of Puerto Rico Law School magna cum laude and was the second highest grade at her Bar Examination with a 99.8%. From Associate to currently serving as the firm's Managing Capital Member, Mrs. Rodriguez has developed strong relationships with her clients, the respect of opposing counsel, the recognition of her peers and has been selected on various occasions to participate in the US District Court for the District of Puerto Rico Merit Selection Panels for the position of U.S. Magistrate Judge. Mrs. Rodriguez enjoys doing Pro Bono work and dedicates time in philanthropic efforts in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Susan G. Komen and other local charities.Mrs. Rodriguez' practice is mostly dedicated to advising clients in the areas of business restructuring, reasonable accommodations and EEO laws, and COVID-19 related matters. Mrs. Rodríguez actively litigates before Puerto Rico and federal courts and quasi-judicial administrative forums, such as the Anti-discrimination Unit and Negotiation and Conciliation Bureau of the Department of Labor. In this post-COVID-19 era, Mrs. Rodriguez has presented on a number of related topics such as the Families First Coronavirus Response Act, the CARES Act and related PPP dispositions, and on issues related to unemployment benefits.During law school, she was editor of the University of Puerto Rico Law Review.
