Amy Conway-Hatcher is a Partner at Schertler Onorato Mead & Sears in Washington, DC. She advises companies on compliance issues and third-party due diligence in connection with acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, co-investments and IPOs involving cross border issues around the globe, in addition to addressing traditional compliance issues, audits and whistleblower complaints.Amy’s previous experience includes serving as an Assistant US Attorney in the District of Columbia for more than six years. As a federal prosecutor, she served in an elite trial unit that focused on investigating and prosecuting some of the city's most difficult and high-profile crimes. She conducted many grand jury investigations, served as lead trial counsel in dozens of complex criminal trials and received numerous DOJ Special Achievement awards. Amy earned her JD from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. She earned her BA, with honors, from the University of Vermont.
