Amy Hackett is a Partner in Peckar & Abramson’s Boston office. Her practice is focused on the representation of general contractors, public and private owners, developers, financial institutions, and other clients in a wide range of complex construction, real estate, and other commercial litigation throughout New England and in other states.Amy vigorously represents her clients in matters involving construction contract claims, design and construction defect claims, payment disputes, mechanic’s liens, warranty claims, and lease and build-out disputes. Before joining P&A, Amy was most recently in-house counsel handling construction litigation, pre-litigation construction claims, and other matters for a public authority providing water and wastewater services to over 3.1 million customers in the greater Boston area.Amy regularly appears in state and federal courts throughout New England and has appeared and argued successfully before the Massachusetts Appeals Court and First Circuit Court of Appeals.
