About Amanda
Amanda Russo Schenck obtained her undergraduate degree in Mass Communications from Louisiana State University in 2003 and her law degree from Loyola University of New Orleans School of Law in 2006. While at Loyola, Amanda was the Vice-president of the Student Bar Association, a Student Practitioner in the Family Law Section of the Loyola Law Clinic, and a teaching assistant in the Research and Writing Lab. Amanda was also the Case Note and Comment Editor of the Loyola Law and Technology Annual and wrote "Ashcroft v. ACLU: Congress's Latest Attempt to Get COPA Passed Depends on the Effectiveness and Restrictiveness of Filtering Software," 6 Loy. L. & Tech. Ann. 83 (2006). Amanda has been an associate in the litigation section at Sher Garner Cahill Richter Klein & Hilbert, LLC since August 2006. Amanda is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Amanda is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Association of Women Attorneys, and New Orleans Bar Association.
