Alec Shelowitz, a Miami native, pursued his education at Pennsylvania State University, earning his degree in 2015. He then attended the University of Miami School of Law, graduating in 2018. During law school, Mr. Shelowitz was recognized for his oral advocacy skills in his litigation advocacy and writing course. He also contributed to the Federal Appellate Clinic, providing assistance to indigent prisoners in their appeals before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Further, he gained valuable experience interning for the Honorable Jonathan Goodman, a U.S. Magistrate for the Southern District of Florida, and at the Miami State Attorney's Office, focusing on post-conviction sentencing appeals.Before joining Zarco Einhorn Salkowski, P.A., Mr. Shelowitz was with one of Florida's prominent insurance defense firms where he concentrated on labor and employment issues as well as condominium and homeowner's association disputes. His responsibilities also included assisting clients in drafting various employment-related documents, including employment handbooks, non-disclosure and non-competition agreements, and arbitration agreements.Mr. Shelowitz became a part of Zarco Einhorn Salkowski, P.A. in January 2023. As an associate attorney, he focuses on franchise law, as well as intricate commercial and labor and employment disputes. He represents clients in both Florida state and federal courts.
