Aen received her law degree from Leland Stanford Junior University and served as Associate Editor of the Stanford Law Review. After law school, she served as a judicial clerk to the Hon. James A. Belson of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. She is a summa cum laude graduate of Yale University where she was elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa.
